Royal Court Tiyatrosu'nda The Local Stigmatic, The Duchess of Malfi, Man is Man, The Enoch Show, Erronenous Zones, Brecht'ten The Tutor, Edward Bond'dan Lear ve Bingo ve Terry Johnson'dan Piano/Forte oyunlarında rol aldı. Heathcote Williams'ın açılış prodüksiyonu The Speakers'da yer alan Joint Stock'un kurucu üyelerinden biriydi. The Royal Shakespeare Company'de The Marrying of Ann Leete, Henry VI, Edward IV, Richard III, The Plain Dealer, Richard Nelson'ın Some Americans Abroad, Ibsen'in Brand adlı oyunlarında oynadı. West End'deki performansları arasında Harold Pinter'ın The Homecoming, Mark Medoff'un Children of a Lesser God, Michael Frayn'ın Benefactors (Greenwich Tiyatrosu'nda da yer aldığı Liberty Hall'da), Oscar Wilde'ın An Ideal Husband, Yasmina Reza'nın Life x 3 ve Ibsen'in Brand'i yer alıyor. Ayrıca Southwark Playhouse'daki King Lear'da ve Shakespeare's Globe'un tamamı erkeklerden oluşan Twelfth Night yapımı Malvolio'da başrol oynadı.
