Gene Roth Biyografisi

Gene Roth (8 Ocak 1903 - 19 Temmuz 1976) Amerikalı bir sinema oyuncusuydu. Redfield, Güney Dakota'da doğan Roth, Eugene Oliver Edgar Stutenroth olarak doğdu. 1922 ile 1967 yılları arasında 250'den fazla filmde rol aldı. Roth, Slaphappy Sleuths, Hot Stuff, Quiz Whizz, Outer Space Jitters ve Pies and Guys gibi Three Stooges'un kısa filmlerindeki ağır ve kötü adamları canlandırmasıyla hatırlanıyor. En unutulmaz rolü, Dunked in the Deep (1949) filmindeki Rus casusu Bortsch ve onun yeniden yapımı olan Commotion on the Ocean (1956) filmiydi. En ünlü cümlesi Shemp Howard'a yönelik tehdidiydi: "Bana şunu ver!" ('fill-um' Rus aksanıyla 'film' anlamına gelir).
