Fosco Giachetti Biyografisi

Fosco Giachetti (28 Mart 1900, Sesto Fiorentino'da - 22 Aralık 1974, Roma'da) İtalyan bir aktördü. Fosco Giachetti, Augusto Genina'nın yönettiği Lo squadrone bianco'nun (1936) baş kahramanıydı. Tredici uomini e un cannone (1936), Sentinelle di bronzo (1937), Scipione l'Africano, Edgar Neville'in İtalyan Carmen fra i rossi (1939), L'assedio dell'Alcazar (1940) ve Bengasi (1942) gibi Faşist propaganda filmlerinin başrol oyuncusu oldu. 1942'de Goffredo Alessandrini'nin iki bölümlük Noi Vivi ve Addio Kira! filmlerinde de başrolü paylaştı. Renato Castellani'nin Un Colpo di Pistola (1942) ve Gianni Franciolini'nin Fari nella nebbia'sı (1942) önceki filmleri kadar başarılı olamadı. Savaştan sonra sahneye geri döndü. İspanya'da Edgar Neville ile Nada'da ve Carne de horca'da çalıştı. 1959'da Dino Risi'nin başarılı komedisi Il mattatore'de yardımcı bir rol oynadı. 1964'te A. J. Cronin'in The Citadel adlı romanından uyarlanan filmde rol aldı. 2003 yılında Sesto Fiorentino'daki Galleria Fosco Giachetti onun onuruna açıldı.
