Barry Letts Biyografisi

Barry Leopold Letts (26 Mart 1925 - 9 Ekim 2009), 1969'dan 1974'e kadar Doctor Who'nun yapımcısı olarak tanınan İngiliz aktör, televizyon yönetmeni, yazar ve yapımcıydı. Leicester'da doğdu. Kırklı yaşlarının başında emekli olup televizyon yönetmeni olmadan önce tiyatro, film ve televizyonda oyuncu olarak çalıştı. Daha sonra beş yıl boyunca BBC bilim kurgu dizisi Doctor Who'nun yapımcısı oldu, Jon Pertwee'nin Üçüncü Doktor olarak görev süresinin neredeyse tamamını yönetti ve Tom Baker'ı Dördüncü Doktor olarak seçti. 1976'dan 1986'ya kadar BBC'nin Sunday Classic drama dizilerinin çoğunun yapımcılığını veya yönetmenliğini yaptı ve 1980'de Doctor Who'ya on sekizinci sezonun baş yapımcısı olarak geri döndü.
